   I have been to this restaurant many times, and this time our experience was not a great one. The server, although very nice, took a while to take our food order. We waited an hour to get our entrees (some tables waited even longer). Our dinner was 2 hours long! The food was very good, so it’s a shame that the kitchen couldn’t accommodate the crowd. I found out that there are new owners, so I will wait a while to go back. Maybe they will figure out how to pace the food so diners aren’t sitting and waiting so long to eat.

   We waited 21/4 hours for our main course to served. Our reservation was at 7:15 and entrees arrived at 9:30pm. Then the manager or owner said I give you free dessert. We were 4 people. The waitress said oh I wasn't aware. She then came back to the table and said select 1 dessert. Seriously, that was beyond an insult after waiting for our meal for 2 plus hours. Customer service was pathetic.

   Was not certain if place was under new management or not, but when food arrived, it was clear this was not the same team there previously. There was definitely an upgrade to the atmosphere, but the food quality clearly a downgrade. I ordered the same dish I've ordered in past visits there (under old regime), scallops and risotto. The scallops were had a weird bite to them and no real flavor direction. It seems they threw everything at them, then topped with a flower - weird! The risotto was the worst ever - dry, clumpy, tasteless, and no help to the strange scallops. My husband had the Osco Busco - just so-so. I was initially concerned whether the dishes would be of the same standard of the old management, and I should have realized that when the bread set out. Previous management would set out an array of delicious warm breads, this outfit put a few slices of dry, cold supermarket bread with a pesto sauce that again - underwhelming. Needless to say, this is another establishment I will write off my list places to dine.

   Do not eat here if you have any food allergies. Waitress was untrained in food allergies and the chef would not come out of the kitchen to discuss. Menu has errors in indication of gluten free, vegan and dairy. Waitress took our order and the Chef agreed to prepare a simple grilled fish and scallops to avoid allergies and then, after we had ordered and already received our appetizer- the waitress came back to inform us that the chef would not be preparing our food because “they were too busy.” No manager ever came to apologize. Waitress was rude and lacked empathy. We paid (amazing they didn’t even cover this!) and we went to another restaurant for our main course. Would never return here again. Would never recommend it.

   We had a wonderful time all around. The music that was playing was lovely, service excellent, food spectacular.

   It's under new ownership, and we'e very happy to find that it's back to great again! The menu has several of the old staples - Caesar flatbread, frito misto, the veal and chicken dishes, long hots, Nonna's Sunday gravy, etc. The arancini are outstanding - light, moist and delicious...and there's lobster in them. The frito misto is excellent, my wife's fish of the day (dorado, I think) was moist and tasty, the pastas were nicely al dente and very tasty. I loved the Sunday gravy, and our friends enjoyed their bolognese and veal saltimbocca just as much. The staff is great, and we were pleased to see some of them still there (and happy) after the change of owner. We're back to being regulars again!

    Love this place. Everything about it is top-notch. Been many times, even took out during the Covid period. You won’t be disappointed.
