Excellent dining experience, courses came out timely and in good order, noise was a bit loud post dinner rush but there were large parties there, food was wonderful, recommend trying the stuffed mushrooms, service was great.

It was shockingly busy for a Wednesday night so I think our server did the best that she could but service was a bit slow (taking our order, bringing drinks and removing dirty dishes). We ordered several appetizers and she confirmed that they would come out slowly (that’s what we wanted). All the appetizers ended up coming out at the same time (fine but not ideal). For entrees we had the bison bourginon and gnocchi. The bison was overcooked (still tasty) but overcooked. The peas in the gnocchi are odd and not needed (they didn’t enhance the flavour of the dish). Overall it was good but a couple of adjustments could make it great.

Food is very good, excellent wine choices, found it very noisy to the extent we had to virtually shout our table conversations. Busy place, all tables filled, something about oysters on Wednesday?!. We don’t like oysters.

Limited ourselves to French Onion soup, charcuterie and cheeses plate this time, With a French red wine. Very nice evening. Service was attentive and James was very knowledgeable about the menu.

As always, our time spent with the fine and talented folks at the Peasant Cookery was flawlessly excellent. Ever the abundant hosts, the Ninja-like server didn’t leave us wanting. Welcoming, inviting, and homey, the venue once again made us feel comfortable and part of something bigger than just a meal. Not only will we be back, we find it hard to go elsewhere. Kudos and accolades to management and staff in the front and the back of the house.

Service was excellent. Our server gave great advice and was helpful to us in making food and drink decisions. Enjoy the food immensely! Today was a first visit for this Mom and my 18 year old son. Will definitely visit here again!

Went for lunch for the first time. Enjoyed a great menu for lunch lots of choices.. we had the lunch special. The French onion soup was really good- the broth had a lot of flavour would definitely have that again! The salad and the sandwich was excellent as was the dessert. Both of us really enjoyed our lunch and would highly recommend.
