   Service was bad and slow. Also, I put in a request to bring out a dessert for my friend's birthday and they never did. Food was not worth the price.

   The food was good, and the service was perfect. This was a business lunch and i made reservations ahead of time. I also made it clear in my reservation it was a business lunch but apparently it didn't matter. My only complaint is where they sat us. We were a table of 4 having a business lunch sitting at two small round high-top tables pushed together. NOT ideal but we made it work.

   I made reservations for 11:45 as we were going to a show at 2. We arrived at 11:35, but we were not seated until after noon despite there being 2 wide open tables right there in front of us. It then took another 20+ minutes for a waitress to even come to our table. All 4 of us ordered the grilled cheese with tomato bacon bisque. It was delicious & the grilled cheese was enough for 2 people to split. The cost for our lunch was a bit ridiculous, but I guess that’s what you should expect in NYC.

   It had been years since I was here, and it was just as good the first time as it was that evening. We went later, so it was pretty quiet, but the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. My friend and I shared the meatballs as an appetizer, and let me tell you, we were both shocked to see these giant hunks of bread to go with the meatballs and sauce they served. It was very good and I could have had a lot more! I had the Rigatoni, which was rich and hearty. I wasn't expecting to eat the whole thing but it was just too good. My friend enjoyed his French Dip as well. Highly recommend!

   I chose this location for a not-fancy midtown business lunch and it worked out very well. Tasty flatbreads and soups, fresh salads and hummus boards, as well as more substantial burgers and fish entrees. The service was efficient and the noise level relatively low.
