   Just another overpriced Steak House. Food quality was good. The wines way overpriced, also the service felt rushed , not attentive. Maybe is me, but the first thing I order is the bottle of wine. The appetizers came before the bottle ( to me and my wife , a dinner out is about enjoying the moment and conversation, not just eating in a rush), I’m used to tasting the wine with a clean palate but if we didn’t start eating the appetizers they would have been cold by the time the wine arrived. The rushed server came in again and asked if we were ready to order , at that point, still waiting on the wine bottle. Again, maybe is culture shock for us, but if I want to be rushed at dinner a high end steakhouse would not be the place.

   Unfortunately this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at this restaurant. Server could not have been slower. Very inattentive and made mistakes that should not happen at this restaurant. Filet was great as always but tomahawk was not a great piece of meat. Sides were solid as always as were the crab cakes and shrimp.

   Great experience... delicious food..service was excellent. We were placed in room off of main dining room where it was quieter. Main dining room was a little noisy. So we appreciated the quieter room. The only thing I would say that could have been better is that the bread served was NOT already in small slices.... You kinda had to tear off a piece and it was not USER friendly.. They could take a lesson from Landry's Seafood Restaurant in how to serve the bread at the table. Other than that, all was outstanding. We had the octopus appetizer....the BEST octopus appetizer I have ever had and we have tried MANY. The steak was perfect and the salmon was outstanding! The valet parking is kinda tricky...cuz it is on McKinney city street and with a lot of traffic, the valet area really tends to "bottle neck"....so better to go really early or really late for dinner...    Excelent service. For the first time in a steakhouse I left a piece of steak on the plate because I was too full. Very well done meat and seasoning was good

   Pappas Bros Steakhouse is absolutely my FAVORITE steakhouse in Houston. I've been to many as that is how me and my husband celebrate our anniversary, and we now simply return to Pappas because it's so wonderful. The food is always excellent, and the service is superb.

   We had a great dinner and service with our waiter George and our sommelier Dylan. Everything was prepared to our request and the food was great.

   After reviewing several upscale steakhouses in Houston, I chose Pappas Bros. Steakhouse to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. From the valet to hostess to waitress, to even the busboy, we were treated like royalty by each. Our meal of steak and sea bass was superb. The sides, especially the au gratin potatoes, were delicious. Finally, the creme brulee was simply the best as it was light and not overly sweet. While I realize that Houston's fine dining scene contains many options, I highly recommend Pappas Bros. Steakhouse many times over. The customer service is unrivaled and I will take that over any of the other more contemporary newcomers.

   Loud, service was slow, steak cooked twice was never right. Steaks were under-seasoned. Disappointing.
