   Dinner was to celebrate our anniversary. Figured we could have a nice “upscale” dining experience while dressing business casual (checked beforehand). Invited our two young adult (17 and 20) children to join us and “made” them dress appropriately. We were seated when we arrived at our reservation time. Unfortunately, we waited several minutes for our waiter and once we did place our drink orders, it was 20 minutes between sitting and having our drinks delivered. Waiter was very friendly and helpful but 20 mins for drinks is not acceptable. Also, the bread served here is very good but messy and there were crumbs all over the table top. Most nice steakhouses I have been to, the staff regularly comes over and cleans up the crumbs with their handy tool. We had to ask another waiter to do this for us. While seemingly petty, when you spend nearly $500 on a dinner for 4 people, that should be automatic. Food was good, not amazing but good. Filets, mushrooms and potatoes for all. We were seated by a table with 7 young boys between the ages of 13-15. They were a little loud, but normal for young teenage boys. Also, dressed in sweatpants, hoodies, tee shirts, etc. This just took away from what I had hoped and expected an anniversary dinner to be. Lastly, our table was also next to the room where the dishes are washed and the busboys are stationed. Not really an “upscale” vibe sitting there. So all in all, I won’t plan on returning to Pappas Bro. for an anniversary or special occasion. Again, our bill was nearly $500 with the tip and I can spend that and get better service and ambience elsewhere.

   I don't want to be too hard on it because overall it was a good experience. The issue I had was if I'm going to a steal house to treat my wife to a $300+ dinner, I shouldn't feel like I'm overdressed because I wore nice clothing. The amount of T-shirts, hoodies, tennis shoes etc was concerning. It took away from the fine dinning experience for me and my wife. When we first got there it was just a few parties, as the night went on it got full but it was as if it was a free-for-all, everyone talking loudly and the conversation were disturbing. Again this took away from the fine experience. The workers from the door, to the waitress even the gentleman that filled the water and brought the bread were fantastic! Now what can I say about the steak..... My wife had the filet mignon and I had the ribeye. I have heard countless times that this is one of the best steaks you will have in Dallas. Well as good as it was, I was left just a good feeling not a wow feeling. The meat was decent but mine had a pretty good amount of fat inside of it that you come to expect from a cheaper cut of meat and the flavor just wasn't their, I'm a small amount of salt on the meat kind of guy but this things only flavor was the salt and the peppercorn. Unfortunately the steak i get from longhorn steakhouse is better to be honest. The potato sides were fantastic. With it being my wife's birthday they offered her a dessert of her choice for free. We got the New York cheesecake and it was delicious and very much appreciated that it was given for free! They didn't have to do this. Overall it was a good experience but not worth the price I paid especially with it feeling like a normal night a Saltgrass.

   Absolutely the best steak and seafood in town! The macaroni and creamed spinach was also delicious. Best steakhouse in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex!!

   Service was great! Filets, lobster bisque, au gratin potatoes and bread were tasty. Cheesecake was huge and yummy! Green beans were ok.

   It's one of our favorite restaurants. Their filet's are amazing. Sever Anthony is the best. Sommelier was helpful picking a 2021 Hartford Court Pinot Noir

   Our family of 7 dined here for Christmas Eve. It was a beautiful experience. It was loud and felt rushed but I’m sure that just because the restaurant was bustling. The food was delicious and the service top notch. We had requested a round table and that exactly what we got…what a treat!! We love Pappas and will be back! Overall great experience for our annual Christmas Eve dinner out.

   When it’s a special occasion or you just want to feel special, it’s Pappas Bros every time. The best service, cocktails, wine and steaks in Dallas.

    You cannot go wrong by going to Pappas Bros Everything from start to finish was perfect! We got seated right away, our server, Nikki, was friendly, professional and made the whole experience perfect!! She was there when you needed her and timed out our food perfectly! And then there is the food, where do I begin to tell you everything was great from Apps, to salad to entree to sides!! You will spend more than normal so a special occasion is perfect!
