An Ofrenda, in Spanish, is an offering, a gift. At their cozy West Village space, owner Jorge Guzman and chef Ivan Octaviano offer their unique interpretation of classic Mexican cuisine with an innovative cocktail menu of tequila-based drinks. Named by NYLuxury as “one of the top ten restaurants in New York serving Latin food” and as “Top Tequila Bar in the US” by the editors of USA Today, this intimate and stylish cocina offers its guests a blend of passions. Jorge’s desire is to create a sexy and fun space to enjoy creative cocktails with the best of Latin cuisine. The food is really really good in a sea of mediocre Mexican food out there. The menu is limited, but the choices are good and sufficient. This is a small and tightly packed restaurant/bar, and therefore noisy, but in a friendly and festive way. The servers were courteous and attentive and food was delivered to the table quickly. Drinks very good. A nice find!

The cucumber margarita is one of the best cocktails i’ve ever had. The chips and guac are amazing and there are great vegetarian/vegan options. Love this place and had the best time and will 100% go back. So fun

Ofrenda is that secret find you want all your friends to know about (but no one else). It's tiny but warm and welcoming, with a menu that's not extensive but everything is on point. Great guacamole, carnitas, fish tacos, good veggie options, and an extensive tequila selection. The best, though, is the daily happy hour with super affordable prices every day (including weekends).
