   We had an amazing experience at Ocean Prime! The food was absolutely delicious—we ordered steaks, salmon, and several sides, all of which were perfectly prepared. The drinks were excellent as well. Our server, Bruce, was fantastic—knowledgeable, fun, and incredibly attentive, making our evening even more enjoyable. Top-notch service and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

   The food was amazing my dinner took 45 minutes to come out but they made it right it was delicious the atmosphere is gorgeous drinks are great too

   Dinner was once again a fine experience. The Oysters were very fresh, briny and perfectly chilled. The Sea Bass and Grouper meals were divine. Fresh and perfectly seasoned and cooked. On arrival at our table we found rose petals and champagne prepared for our Anniversary celebration. Malachi and Danny our servers made the timing of the meal perfect. Danny also ‘comped’ our Butter Cake dessert, a gesture that was truly appreciated. Can’t wait to come back.

   We have always had wonderful experiences at Ocean Prime Tampa, which is why we moved our reservation up a day, eager for another impeccable meal. Unfortunately, today was a disaster from start to finish. We ordered drinks and food immediately, yet it took 40 minutes before anything arrived. Cold appetizers—oysters and shrimp cocktail—that should have come out promptly were missing. Our server disappeared, and no one checked on our table. We had to go to the front desk, at which point the general manager stepped in, sincerely apologized, and assured us he would personally oversee the rest of our meal. However, that never happened. When our entrées arrived, my filet mignon was not properly encrusted, and my former partner received the wrong meal entirely—a Cobb salad instead of his lobster bisque and crab cake. His bisque, crab cake, and a side dish of corn were also missing. Despite the manager’s promise, clearly there was no oversight in the kitchen, the plating, or the service at any level. To add to the frustration, when trying to settle the bill, the inKind payment system didn’t work, forcing my spouse to use his credit card. Later, upon reviewing the receipt, we realized we had been overcharged for the filet mignon (billed at $59 instead of the lunch price of $50) and were also charged $9 for an au poivre sauce that the waiter never mentioned had an additional cost, after he suggested it multiple times, as if it was part of the meal. Ocean Prime is an expensive, white-tablecloth establishment where service and execution should be flawless. Instead, today was one of the worst fine dining experiences we have ever had. While we appreciate the oysters and shrimp cocktail being comped, it doesn’t undo the frustration, confusion, and disappointment we felt throughout the meal. At this level, these failures are simply unacceptable.
