My husband asked for a delicious steak dinner from Outback Steakhouse for his birthday . I said noooo not outback, we can do a lot better than that!! I booked Ocean Prime in Dallas to celebrate his birthday with a nice steak dinner..Our experience at Ocean prime was poor and disappointing.. The service overall was poor. Our waiter lacked customer service skills. Our food took over an hour after receiving our appetizer. The calamari was tasty though. I asked another waiter to please check on our food cause as I previously stated our waiter lacked customer service skills. Once we got our dinner, the steaks both lack basic salt and pepper and seasoning. The steaks had a terrible burnt taste to them as well. The cream spinach was very good. The smoked Gouda tater tots were lacking something. The sauce that they served on the side of the tots didn’t taste quite right with the tots. For my husband birthday, they offered free dessert but we declined because after 2 1/2 hours we were ready to leave. Overall, very disappointing night and definitely will not be returning to Ocean Prime.

One of the best steak restaurants in Dallas. Sushi, lamb, and steak were all amazing. Also, they have the best carrot cake in town.

Appetizers were excellent! Had the oysters, calamari and the crab cake! Expresso martinis and crème brûlée made for an excellent dessert.

Rodney was great! Being sequestered in a back room with a large party got challenging to hear each other, but the staff made us feel welcomed from beginning to end!

The ambience and the food were wonderful! I would highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion, or even an upscale date night! Keviah was a wonderful waitress and provided excellent service!

The check in process was less than desired. We got to the Resteraunt 18 minutes late and had to wait 30 additional minutes for table. If the walk from parking garage to your door wasn’t so lengthy then we could have arrived within the 15 minutes allowance. This is the first time visiting your Resteraunt and I am use to just walking in the door and not going on a mini hike to get to your door. 😁
