   Service was amazing and the ambiance was pleasant and soothing. They had cute valentines decorations and our waitress gave us chocolate hearts. Our waitress was always checking in on us, filling our water and was amazing. Food however was quite salty - we ordered the nachos, fish and chips, and lasagna which were saltier than it should have been. The mozzarella bites tasted great and were baked very well.

   Best brussel sprouts ever! We tried the Winterlicious lunch menu prior to seeing a show that offered 3 courses. Portions were large and all were very happy with the taste and quality of the food. Fish batter was so light and not greasy at all. Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream was to die for! Staff are very attentive and friendly. We will definitely return!

   I had an amazing dining experience at O&B Canteen during Winterlicious! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a modern yet cozy vibe that made for the perfect setting. The Winterlicious menu was an absolute delight, offering a well-curated selection of dishes that showcased both creativity and quality ingredients. Each course was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The appetizers were fresh and vibrant, the mains were perfectly cooked and full of depth, and the desserts provided the perfect sweet finish to the meal. Beyond the fantastic food, the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was perfect. They were happy to provide recommendations and made us feel truly taken care of. Whether you’re visiting for Winterlicious or just looking for a great meal in downtown Toronto, O&B Canteen is a must-visit.    We ate here on Saturday Feb 1, and chose this restaurant as it was close to the Princess of Wales theatre, and we were going to the 2pm Matinee. Wife and daughter both shared the nachos, the nachos only had 1 layer of cheese, so when the top layer was done, the rest of the chips did not have cheese on it. Mushroom empanadas were average. Filling was very tasty, chimichurri had too much oregano, and the empanadas shell was a little too soft. Wife had the southwest salad with chicken. $19 for a salad plus an additional $10 for chicken is a bit much for a salad. French connection burger was very good, and so were the kid’s chicken fingers with fries. Average meal, nothing to impress. Too expensive for what it is. Service was good though. Friendly wait staff, and very attentive.

   Friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable seating. We enjoyed the offerings on the menu including the half price appetizers and drinks before 6:00 pm. We had an appetizer of a generous amount of guacamole and chips, a vegan burger plate, a French burger with Gruyère cheese and a vegan green salad bowl with corn, quinoa and chick peas. And all was served promptly so that we could get to our show on time. Thank you!

    Food was just ok, we ordered nachos and they were mostly dry chips. Only about a half cup of topping.
