Nostrana—literally ours—invokes local. Simple food from honest ingredients. Pure, regional, Italian. Opened in 2005, Nostrana is Chef/Owner Cathy Whims’ love letter to Italy. This is a restaurant built on relationships: with our amazing farmers and purveyors, our dedicated staff, and of course with you, our guest.

We hope to offer something timeless and authentic in a beautiful space, the regional specialties of Italy deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest. We strive to be better every day.

We're currently reserving indoor tables and bar seating. When available, outdoor patio reservations may be subject to weather disruptions.

A Service Charge of 22% is applied to all checks at Nostrana, providing a professional and equitable wage for all team members.

The pizza was really good, especially the salami pizza with the honey glaze. Staff was friendly, though the service was average once we were seated. My partner and I were disappointed with our pasta selection. We ordered the fried calamari linguini. Not only was it sloppily plated, it was dry, undercooked, and overpriced. We don't drink alcohol, but they had an extensive wine selection.

When we travel from Seattle to Portland we always try to have a dinner at Nostrana, The food is simply prepared and perfect every time we have had dinner. They serve a wide range of people from dating couples to oldsters like us. Drinks and wine also very well chosen and well prepared. Service is attentive. Be sure to get a reservation ! Dr David Celio

The cork bar stools next door are amongst the most uncomfortable seats. Almost immediately my body was hurting. Made the wait extremely hard to not just leave

Overpriced, food was excellent, services just OK, very loud. 22% automatic service charge applied and waitress made a pitch. Most people pay more on the tip that would go directly to her the server. The 22% was being shared.

Nostrana is a consistently great restaurant. Food and service are outstanding. Our server Emma was fantastic. Made us feel like we knew her our entire lives. Please ask for Emma when you do.

Sat at bar in Enoteca for Happy Hour. More laid back than main dining. Good pizza, salad and $10 “dealer’s choice” red wine made for a less expensive Nostrana experience. Friendly bar tender. Uncomfortable bar stools, draft from front door took the evening down a star for me.
