We were seated quickly in one of the quaint rooms and had attentive service. The food was outstanding from appetizer to dessert. We enjoyed the fife and drums playing outside as well as two strolling artists who played in the different dining rooms. Once our meal was finished, we walked outside to enjoy the fireworks which were seen perfectly outside the restaurant! Although expensive, it was a special and lovely family holiday experience!!More infoKing's Arms TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Colonial Williamsburg•4.7
- SStephenVIPVirginia •32 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoBerret’s is one of the best restaurants in Williamsburg with a great location adjacent to Merchant’s Square, in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg. We had a festive lunch before attending a Christmas show at the Kimball Theater conveniently located across the Berret’s parking lot. The seafood options are amazing and the other menu choices will satisfy all diners. The servers are wonderful professionals who have found a home at Berret’s so you can ask for your favorite server each time you go. We especially enjoy Channing because of her great sense of humor, professionalism and knowledge of the menu.More infoBerret's RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Williamsburg•4.7
- LLamiWashington, D.C. Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThe restaurant from the outside appears unobtrusive and understated but once you enter the glass doors, you enter a charming space. Lots of character, elegant French country. We were immediately welcomed by a friendly host and because one had the sense of being in France I was taken aback when he spoke with a southern accent! Too funny. Our table was in a room with a large fireplace and the seats were cushioned and extremely comfortable. Noise level low to moderate. Our server Breanna was upbeat, had a great sense of humor and checked on our table frequently. The service was professional, our food came out in a timely manner and we never felt rushed. The menu was exceptional and for the quality, very reasonably priced. Appetizers averaged $10-15, entree $35-50 and dessert $10-15. A couple of outliers on the higher end such as the $30 foie gras starter and the $65 beef tenderloin seared with foie gras in a truffle port wine reduction. The entrees included a soup or salad and our portions were decent. A glass of brut rose champagne $12 and 12 oz of Caymus cab. $39. Other 6-12oz wines much cheaper. The manager came over to our table and spoke with us. She was charming. The chef.she told us is from Normandy which comes as no surprise as the meal was superbe. We were a party of six and every plate I noticed was completely clean at the end— not a drop leftover. I highly recommend this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, or just to have excellent French food in a comfortable warm and inviting setting. Would go back again and again!More infoLe Yaca - WilliamsburgPrice: Expensive• French• Williamsburg•4.9
- SStanJackson Hole / Wyoming •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoVery quick welcome at the reception desk and quick seating. Directed to a small room table for two shared with one 4 seat table Great service and very prompt. The crab cakes, salad and dessert were all wonderful. As was the fried chicken. The performance by the flutist was an extra bonus to the ambience. The only drawback was sharing the room with a very active talkative 6 year old.More infoChristiana Campbell's TavernPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Colonial Williamsburg•4.5

Discover Williamsburg
Williamsburg sweeps its visitors to another time with its cobblestone streets, Colonial-era taverns and village-style shopping. Consider it an invitation to taste America’s heritage with authentic Virginia ham, buttermilk biscuits, peanut soup, local wine and cheeses and Chesapeake Bay seafood. Filet mignon topped with jumbo lump crabmeat, roasted tomato and crab bisque and sautéed lump crab cakes celebrate the Bay. While Williamsburg, the largest of the American colonies, was Virginia’s capital and political center throughout the 1700s, don’t let all of that American history fool you. Williamsburg shows off its international side with pork schnitzel, shepherd’s pie, Flemish beef stew and house-made pasta with artichoke hearts. French flair is found in dishes like veal scaloppini, pan-seared sea scallops and grilled lamb with lentils and heirloom tomatoes. Four-course lunch menu, anyone?
