- EElisabethPhiladelphia County •9 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEnjoyed a lovely dinner with my family, including a teen and pre-teen. My pre-teen enjoyed the chicken fingers and fries off the kids menu, while my teen loves grilling her own steak. When it comes to fondue, they only like the dessert fondue, and the fact Melting Pot now has a grill option has made it a lot easier for us to eat here with our kids. The wait staff at Melting Pot is always exceptional, which makes for an enjoyable meal out for me, as they take care of everything!More infoThe Melting Pot - King of PrussiaPrice: Expensive• Fondue• King of Prussia•4.8

- JJonPhiladelphia County •205 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 24, 2024Another great dinner at one of our favorite steak house restaurants. The CG never disappoints with outstanding service, delicious steaks and cocktails. The wine selection is impressive with a nice variety of pairings to go with your meal. The service is outstanding as we have come to expect here. The meal is paced perfectly with just the right balance of attentiveness. Steaks were deliciously seasoned and cooked to perfection at the requested temperature. We were seated in a booth with a view into the kitchen providing a cinematic experience of a well run kitchen staff. It was a great time to spend with family to celebrate the holidays.More infoThe Capital Grille - King of PrussiaPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• King of Prussia•4.8

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy. What makes an occasion special isn’t an arbitrary date on the calendar—it’s the decision to celebrate. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.

Discover King of Prussia
This city may have grown far beyond its farmland origins, but its culinary traditions are no less important. After all, the area got its name from a historical tavern that's still standing after centuries of serving diners. Of course, if you're not a big fan of the classic Welsh-inspired and American heartland meals the area is known for, you can always check out the Brazilian, Vietnamese and Middle Eastern spots that have sprung up nearby. Being this close to Philly doesn't mean that you're right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. King of Prussia's agricultural roots remain strong in the form of casual farm-to-table countertop dining and abundant area wineries, both of which are great ways to cap off your trips to nearby Valley Forge.
