The host sat us anyway. I ordered the shrimp and grits 😋 It was superb! The brussel sprouts were delicious and amazing cornbread. We’ve had excellent food in the past, but they’ve just reopened. My husband’s beef brisket was excellent. My smash burger was OK. But we had a lovely time visiting the Grove Park Inn, enjoying the terrace for a pre-dinner drink. And we were glad to see that the historic lobby has reverted to its Arts and Crafts decor. The food (my dish was made with cob) was excellent. Service was efficient and friendly. Nice atmosphere. Convenient location. I don't know what else anybody would be looking for in a restaurant.
