- LLindaVIPAustin •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe understood…It was a Saturday night during the holiday season and, even though we had a reservation, we were asked to wait five to ten minutes to be seated. Just as we were starting to wonder if they had forgotten about us, the hostess apologized and offered to buy us a glass of champagne “on the house.” We were guided to a private cocktail area with four seats and joined another couple, who were also waiting, and chatted while waiting to be seated; a lovely gesture and one you don’t experience very often! Even though the restaurant was very busy, our waiter, Roland, made us feel as if we were his only guests. Noticing we still had champagne to finish, he held off opening our wine and paced the courses slowly, just as we had asked. What can we say? We love to share the arugula and fig pizza and wood roasted chicken. Maybe next time, we’ll try something new at our favorite Georgetown restaurant!More infoLa Riv - GeorgetownPrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.6
