Mark who looked after us today is the most professional, helpful and friendly gentleman. He was so attentive and polite we thought he was wonderful. Mark really makes you feel taken care of and comfortable. Such an asset to a beautiful experience. - IIndiaNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had a fab experience dining here on our way travelling down from Orkney. We had such a lovely meal, and it was so handy to be able to bring in our dog. The pub was super cosy, we loved sitting by the fire (Peggy the greyhound loved this too!) The food was so delicious and seasonal. The smoked duck was my favourite! The staff was so attentive and friendly and made the whole experience delightful.More infoThe Pack Horse InnPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Doxford•4.6
- JJohnManchester/Greater Manchester •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had a really nice meal, served by a wonderful host. It was a shame we were the only people in for a while, added to during the meal as a few came to the bar for a pint or two, so ambiance a little lacking. Timing, we guess, as it was a late lunch. Won’t put us off going back as it’s always welcoming and food never disappoints so either later this holiday or next time we’re up, for sure.More infoThe Joiners ArmsPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Alnwick•4.3
