Lovely food and great service as always. Such friendly and attentive staff. We love it for a birthday meal and it was so nice of staff to provide my son with a birthday brownie and candle! (He was relieved there was no song to accompany it!). Only very slight negative was that it felt quite cold in the restaurant - but it was quite quiet on a Tuesday night and it was Baltic outside!

Great variety of dishes on offer. Beautiful surroundings, excellent service, quality food of the highest standard. Probably the best value restaurant in the North East of Scotland. Everything is just done right, spot on! Well done Team Forbes. Colin & Jackie Cruickshank

Lovely place to eat. Good food had chicken burger was nice bit to much BBQ sauce not worth £18.99. Fish was tasty deffo return

Always an excellent choice of interesting food, brilliantly cooked with perfect professional friendly service in comfortable surroundings. Extensive choice of accompanying wines. Fruh Kolsh as excellent choice for an alcohol free beer. Deserts are superb. A consistently great restaurant over the years.
