- DDonald JoevipLos Angeles •39 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoFirst-time visit to China Live, and we were not disappointed! Attentive, helpful service (Raffi was super-helpful with navigating the menu), lots of choices, and quick service. We got the XLB, sea bass, and crispy noodles with chicken, and really, I can't think of a single negative thing to say about any of them. Dessert was the wonderful mandarin brownie with lychee ice cream. All in all, a wonderful meal and a great time out for my bride and I.More infoChina LivePrice: Moderate• Chinese• Chinatown•4.7
- JJoelCalifornia Central Coast •13 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe tried this restaurant for SF restaurant week and we enjoyed it so much. The bruschetta and calamari were great to start and then we did the add in for the “live cook” inside the cheese wheel and were not disappointed at all. Tiramisu for dessert had a lot of espresso flavor and the drinks with dinner were fantastic. We will be back to eat from the standard menu for sureMore infoAcquolinaPrice: Expensive• Italian• North Beach•4.5
- SSandySan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 14, 2024I visited this restaurant with my girlfriends, and we ate so much that I had to order an entire meal for two to take home for tomorrow night. The food was delicious, and I loved the atmosphere. It was casual, relaxed, and unpretentious. The young woman who served us tonight knew her food and her drinks so well, and the server guy was very attentive. Every dish was carefully designed and cooked with a lot of joy and attention to details. All the desserts were made in house and to their perfection. What a great modern Italian restaurant that we discovered tonight!More infoBocconcinoPrice: Moderate• Italian• North Beach•4.7
- LluannSan Francisco Bay Area •24 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 17, 2024Wow. We had a wonderful time at the Red Window. We had been anticipating going for a few months. We had booked a table to celebrate 2 belated birthdays in August for October. Little did we know that they changed their hours of opening for October. I called and reconfirmed the date and time with them and they said they would open for us as planned. We were treated like queens. We had a lovely server name Melanie. She served us our fantastic rojo sangria and let us know all the popular tapas and entrees as well as her favorites. One of the birthday girls is a food and wine blogger so she picked Melanie brain on the drinks and food being served. We ordered food we could all share. Caesar salad, Arugula Salad,Buffalo chicken wings, and Chili Braised Lamb pasta. Everything was delicious and very filling. They comp us 4 glasses of champagne to celebrate our 2 ladies birthday. What a memorable day. Melanie from Lucca made it so special for us too. The ambiance of the Red Window is colorful and festive and the lively music they played gave it a party atmosphere. We will all go back again. Thanks to the owner for honoring our reservations. You made us very happy!!More infoThe Red WindowPrice: Moderate• Modern European• North Beach•4.4
