- BBobPortland / Oregon •6 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoLets start with ambience. There are a number of trendy hotspots that have opened in the last couple of years. The noise level is deafening. It was so nice to be able to have a dinner conversation without shouting at each other. Nice lighting, comfortable seating, just a very nice setting. Service. In a word OUTSTANDING. From the moment we entered we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly words. Dinner and drinks were served at a leisurely (but not slow) pace. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. She was just there at the right times. Food. Well here's where it gets uneven. Companion ordered the crab cakes with a caesar salad. $38 bucks seemed like a lot for a couple of crab cakes, but these were delicious and she could barely finish them. The salad was huge, delicious and expertly prepared. The Ribeye- I used to always get this and they were always tender and delicious. Not this one. I have shoes that would be easier to cut than the steak I was served. It was kind of like driving down a long road strewn with potholes. I kept searching for a tender piece but never found one. Worst steak I've had since the Sizzler closed down. Unforgiveable at $78.More infoThe Blacksmith RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Bend•4.7
- FFRANCESLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 11, 2025Brickhouse offers exceptional service and an unforgettable dining experience. Their seafood platter is truly outstanding—the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve enjoyed seafood at numerous restaurants across the U.S. This one stands out above the rest. The staff strikes a perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. The manager was particularly impressive—humble, approachable, and committed to ensuring a great experience. He went above and beyond to make sure my husband was happy with his steak, promptly addressing and correcting anything that fell short. Kudos to Brickhouse for delivering such an incredible meal and exceptional service. Highly recommend!More infoThe Brickhouse - BendPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Bend•4.8

Discover Bend
Bend is a beer lover's paradise. Microbreweries craft some of the most impressive IPA drafts in Oregon, and almost a third of the visitors to Bend come specifically for the beer. The restaurants range from super casual to upscale formal, and most of them specialize in American foods with a West Coast feel. Pan-seared rainbow trout, lobster scampi linguini, and Columbia River steelhead trout will remind you how close you are to the ocean. You can also keep your feet firmly on terra firma with bacon-crusted bison meatloaf, prime rib, or chicken fried chicken breast. Wherever you go, you'll find yourself surrounded by active tourists drawn to the neighborhood for great skiing, hiking, biking, and, of course, eating.
