- HHowieVIPBaltimore / Maryland •347 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoThis was our second visit to Village Square Restaurant and we enjoyed it. It’s good but not great. The ambiance is the best thing going. Comfortable, dim lighting, active fireplace, brick walls…feels a bit like a Colorado ski lodge. We’ve only dined here for lunch. The food is solid. (We’ve reviewed the dinner menu, which seems more special.) Martinis were done nicely, although the pours aren’t generous. We started with a dozen raw oysters, nice presentation. For entrees, my wife enjoyed the pot roast French dip. Good dish. I had the lobster roll. Also good. Devlin, our server, was very nice, personable, but service was slow at times. Overall, a positive but unremarkable dining experience. Even though we haven’t been here for dinner, I’d recommend Village Square “blindly” before doing the same for lunch.More infoVillage Square RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Winchester•4.5

We used open table and were seated right away. If I had any criticism it would be my lobster was way over cooked but the steak was perfect.
