We enjoy coming back each time because of the care and service that you provide. Thank you for always looking out for my brides food allergy requirements and for always providing her with alternative food recommendations. It's still very noisy but not as bad in the back! It is on the pricier side.More infoMakawao Public HousePrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Makawao•4.6

Discover Haiku
Iconic for its gorgeous beaches and endless sun, Haiku, Maui, is also a desirable place to enjoy excellent cuisine. On an island where barbecue is a must, try pork ribs or Hawaiian beef jerky, a dish also called pipikaula. Don't leave the island without tasting the barbecue chicken, made with a sauce called huli huli. Fish is also a must. Enjoy everything from ahi tuna, prepared blackened, steamed, or raw, to ruby snapper. After dinner, don't forget the manju, a cookie with a sweet center for dessert. Or, go tropical all the way with breadfruit. If you're not in the mood for traditional island fare, you'll also find plenty of barbecue, Mexican, and American comfort foods here.
