My wife had the whole chicken which was HUGE but a bit undercooked. I had the cocktail flight which was awesome.More infoThe Barrel ClubPrice: Moderate• American• Oak Lawn•4.7
- KKunoVIPChicago / Illinois •225 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI have a bad review of one their locations in Orland Park, on our dining experience last week 12-7-24. We decided to have dinner last night at their Oak Lawn location and no fail, this is how Copper’s Hawk is supposed to be run. Our reservation was at 7:15pm and we got there at 7:10pm. When we checked in the hostess stated our table will be ready soon. We were seated exactly at 7:15. The food, wine and the service is how this restaurant is known for. Our server (Romeo) was very friendly, accommodating with our request and often checked on us if we need anything. Keep up the great work Copper’s Hawk Oak Lawn and will be continuing to dine at this location whenever we are in the area.More infoCooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant - Oak Lawn, ILPrice: Moderate• American• Oak Lawn•4.4

- SSamanthaHawaii •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 7, 2024Food is 10/10 so is the service. Our waiter was so patient and accommodating. You get a lot of food for the price. It’s decorated with a rustic theme that is very warm and inviting. It’s a little loud on a Saturday but I can see why it’s so popular.More infoHighlander House Restaurant & BarPrice: Moderate• Polish• Palos Hills•4.7

Discover Palos Park
Palos Park is an affluent community in the southwestern part of Cook County, and it is well-regarded for its carefully maintained green spaces, such as the Palos Park Woods and Cook County Forest Preserve. This preserve has more than 15,000 acres of woods, which is the largest uninterrupted forested area in Cook County, and offers picnicking areas where you can bring your take-out of traditional Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. Many of the residents of Palos Park are of Irish descent, which is evidenced by the numerous local pubs featuring fish and chips, smoked fish, and stout. There is also a growing number of people of Indian descent. Some of the local specialties served at the family-owned restaurants include pork vindaloo, kolfi, and pomfet.
