The main shopping areas in Rancho San Diego are also the best places to find great restaurant options. Locals and tourists alike can feast on Japanese, Italian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food. A mile or so west along Campo is the local shopping center, with food choices like sushi, Thai and a couple chain options. A few blocks east of Towne Center along Jamacha there’s a wide selection of casual dining and fast food chains plus locally owned American diners and Chinese food. If you travel bit farther down Jamacha, you’ll find Mexican and Italian establishments where you can enjoy some fish tacos or spaghetti.
