When I first made the reservation I had questions regarding the menu as one of our party members had severe allergies to mustard. The folks at St. Elsewhere were extremely helpful over the phone, confirming menu item ingredients with the chef and called me back twice to confirm what was safe. When we arrived, they had even taken the time to label a copy of the menu with the items that were safe, and made sure to prepare them separately to ensure that there was no cross contamination. The ambiance was wonderful, with funny, beautiful paintings and some great chill music in the background. Our table of 5 was comfortable in a booth-like seating area. Their menu is fantastic and we enjoyed the appetizers, main course, and desserts, making sure to try a few items for the whole table. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and will definitely repeat the experience. We were all extremely happy with our experience with the team at St. Elsewhere and are grateful for their helpful and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the exquisite dining experience they provided for our party.

I have eaten here about 4 or 5 times. The food and service are always consistent, amazing food, and fantastic service! Dreamland Cafe is now my favorite restaurant!! I had the beet salad and Pesto pasta with chicken, oh wow, absolutely delicious. My only concern was that I was too full to have dessert :) The chef is a wonderful person, an amazing chef, and a kind person. The staff are courteous, kind, and friendly. You need to try this restaurant, but you need to make a reservation because the secret is out there, that this restaurant is so very, very good!

This was a phenomenal treat- starting with a gift certificate from our daughter and her partner. From out-of-country they searched sustainable, Canadian, creative and accommodating. And found perch. The nine course surprised tasting menu was one wonderful surprise after another, paired with interesting alcohols. The calvados/vermouth/amaro house blend at the end was deeply memorable. Back to the food. Fennel poached mussels, mustard macaron with scallop, salmon squash pudding, etc etc and etc. Each dish was unique and satisfying. I appreciated the “kitchen waste” dessert at the end of the meal and also that it wasn’t too sweet, but it was the one miss, if only because it was quite dry. We loved the experience and will definitely be back.

The food was amazing and our server was very nice . Enjoyed the music selection will definitely go again.

The food was exceptionally good. I had the rigatoni and I will now dream about it until I go again. Cocktails were lovely and nice wine selection. Service was attentive and unobtrusive. Will definitely be back.
