Food was excellent as was the service staff were attentive and helpful, I would recommend that you try this excellent restaurant,. I've been there a number of times and never been disappointed.

Wonderful place to eat - we were outside because we had our dogs with us, but it was just lovely overlooking the lake - we’ll be back time and time again.

We decided to treat ourselves with an evening meal at one of our favourite gastropubs last night - and as usual we weren’t disappointed! Promptly seated in a quieter section of the spacious dining area, the Specials observed and the modified menu perused, we decided on a shared plate of Duck Spring Rolls with Davidson Plum Sauce (and a tangy salad on the side - YUM), while I had the Tuna Sashimi Main Course, and hubby chose the Mediterranean Chicken Breast. Since both dishes had ample accompaniments, sides weren’t considered. Both dishes satisfied us, mine especially, both in taste and presentation - faultless! Our glasses of wine also matched comfortably - Pinot Gris for me, Clare Valley Riesling for him. Two very happy customers - thanks to an effective kitchen team led by a wonderful chef and an efficient and friendly front of house team. Watching all of them at work shows just how important they all are to successful operations like this- may it long continue.

My husband and I did the wine tasting, everything we tried was amazing and explained in detail. Staff were very helpful. We had lunch and the pizza was cooked perfectly. We stayed in the safari tent for the night that I highly recommend. Aircon, mini bar, kitchenette, double bed, bath and en-suite made it very comfortable. We also spotted kangaroos from the front of our tent. Breakfast was included. Staff gave us tips for places to see in Bendigo. Will definitely return.

Absolutely wonderful. The platter (as always, visited 6 times) is the most delicious array of various hot and cold delights. Coupled with a beautiful crisp glass of Blue Pyrenees Vintage Brut made a memorable day.
