However, we were there for Christmas lunch, prebooked, menu preselected and prepaid several months beforehand. Reservations were every 15 minutes but the staff just could not keep up. We sat for an hour before getting our wine and main course. The staff were lovely but overwhelmed. As to ambience, we were seated in a dull white box room on uncomfortable plastic chairs.
