Walk-in's always welcome! Screen Door is a restaurant that presents itself as a love letter to the American South and the revival of regional cooking. Each day, the restaurant receives natural, local organic meats and produce from nearby vendors. The inclusion of regional Pacific Northwest ingredients into a menu of dishes developed in the south has created a unique flavor profile in Screen Door's menu. Many of Screen Doors dishes draw their inspiration from Louisiana and the Cajun cooking that's found there. These include our world-famous fried chicken, Lowcountry shrimp and grits, smoked andouille chicken gumbo and fried okra.     Portland City Grill is a must!! Everything about this place was amazing - the view, the food, and the service. This place is one of the best for ambiance, and they happened to have live music when I went there. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

    Our server was excellent, had a nice time chit chatting with him. I was so happy they served A-1 sauce and didn’t make me feel bad for asking. I barely used it tho - the steak was so good and was actually better without it. Their onion rings are literally the best I’ve ever had. We had the Wagyu - it was an experience but I think if I came back I’ll just get the steak - we had a fillet mignon - it was good but I think I’ll try the rib eye next time. A nice place to dress up for.

    A perfect dinner (seated at counter) at Nostrana. Went on a Thursday - gnocchi night. I usually don’t choose gnocchi, but am now a convert - so pillowy and tender, and the clam sauce I chose was buttery, seasoned greatness. Our server was friendly, warm, and efficient and suggested an alternative wine by the glass that was from next door that was so good we bought a bottle to take home. Consistently amazing, and impressed my husband for date night.

    We had our meal here on Christmas Eve. This restaurant was SLAMMED, but they handled it extremely well. We never felt like we weren't being attended to. The food was excellent, salad bar continuously being refreshed. Some of the meats weren't exceptional, but for a night that was jam-packed our wait was less than expected and service was great.

    Always an amazing experience at Janken. The server knew her stuff and helped us order the adequate amount for our party of six. The drinks were delicious. The place was packed and we all could easily hear each other. This is a must go to place in Portland.
