The Old Auctioneer is a 500 year old listed building in the centre of Banbury with wonderful character and history. It is now the home of great quality comfort food, incredible wings and much more. All dishes are homemade and cooked to order, and we have a lovely terrace for outside dining throughout the year.We are open from 5pm Monday - Thursday & from 12pm Friday - Sunday and are located on Parsons Street in the heart of Banbury centre. The 1867 is the renowned licensed eatery, for a treat, located at Heart of The Shires Shopping Village on the A5, just north of Weedon, in the beautiful county of Northamptonshire.Surrounded by beautiful countryside in the centre of England with lots of lovely boutique shops too! We have many guests who conveniently meet here at the 1867 with friends, family and business associates from all over the country and indeed abroad. Well behave dogs are very welcome with water and treats on arrival.We are open from 9.30am for breakfast, every day, including bank holidays ( with exception to Christmas Day and Boxing Day ).Our popular Afternoon Tea offering is available from 2pm until 5pm – please pre-book with any specific dietary requirements.Our crew genuinely want you to leave our eatery ‘feeling better than you came in’ and we will do our upmost to make this happen.     I always enjoy a visit to Pizza Calzone. The food is good as is the service. This time there was an issue with one of the dishes but everything was done to settle the problem and we left happy.

    Amazing! We had a 9 month old baby and they were kind and accommodating, the service was especially outstanding. Food was amazing portions and loved there was no alcohol either. Lovely atmosphere, makes you feel very special. Only thing was slightly cold so would wear something warm. 10/10 would come again with and without the baby!
