   Great meal!! The strip was AMAZING, tender like a filet and unlike any strip we've had. But also the sides, these Yukon gold potatoes were so very buttery. And these were the best brussels sprouts ever crispy, yet juicy and full of flavor. Just wow. I'll not miss this spot the next time I'm in Durham. Highly recommend.

   Great dinner and service!!! My only negative comment was that we sat on a two top table against the wall and were a little too close to the people next to us. We could hear their conversation and it was hard to speak privately.

   Nana Stake is always a great choice; especially if you are heading over to a show at the DPAC. The drinks are made so well and the food is always delicious. The only issue I had on my last visit was my main entree’s plate was cold, which maid my Wagyu steak go cold before eating 1/2 of it. The stake itself was hot when it came to the table but it was disheartening to feel the plate was cold upon arrival. The side dishes were hotter than my main dish sizzling. Each time I go now I will make it an important note to insist my plate is hot upon arrival.

   The server Bridget was excellent , very professional , friendly and checked in with us several times to see how we were doing and how was our food properly prepared. The food quality was outstanding. Overall a great experience.

   This was our first time here. We started with the “wedge” Bibb salad and fried calamari. Both were amazing, but be sure to ask for a side of their cocktail sauce with the calamari - you’ll thank me later. For drinks, we both had The Dirty Durham with vodka. I love a dirty martini and this one was excellent. For our entrees, we had the prime rib and NY strip. Both were cooked perfectly to our desired temps. The Yukon gold potato purée paired really well with both. For our desserts, we had the cake of the day, which was an almond cake with orange marmelade and vanilla buttercream. We also had the brownie with bourbon caramel and vanilla ice cream. Both were excellent! Our waiter was attentive and our water glasses were never empty. It was a great date night I can’t wait to recreate soon.

    Absolutely delicious dinner! My husband had the pork chop with collards. Both were amazing. The biggest pork chop we’ve ever seen, but cooked to perfection. I was in the mood for comfort food and had the chicken. It was moist with a very good flavor. The chicken came with a generous side of mashed potatoes and asparagus. There was also a delicious thyme sauce. Nana’s did not disappoint!
