The Morcilla team brings contemporary Spanish influenced cuisine to the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Enjoy a mix of pintxos, house made charcutería and large plates meant for sharing from our family-style menu. End your experience with churros and chocolate hazelnut fondue to round out the evening. Our beverage program features craft cocktails, an extensive wine list, a deep sherry and vermut selection and local craft beer. Our dining room is intimate, perfect for celebrating your next special occasion with your favorite person. If you prefer bar seating, the full menu is available there too. We do recommend reservations, but hold a few bar seats for walk-in diners. Refer to www.morcillapittsburgh.com for our current menu.

Best meal I’ve had in ages. Mezcal drink with the ancho chiles is my favorite. Oxtail and mussels escabeche both 10/10.

We ordered 4 snacks, 3 small plates, and 1 dessert between 3 people. It was the perfect amount of food and every single dish was exquisite. The scallop crudo was my personal favorite (but I also LOVED everything we ordered.) We did not leave a single bite on any plate! I can’t wait to come back.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Every time I go there, the food quality is consistent, the menu is very creative, and there’s so much flavor in every bite. This time, I was there for my husband’s birthday, and we both loved the duck confit, oxtail montadito, and the anchovies tapas—we loved everything, really. The vibe is very cozy, and the music makes it even more relaxing and enjoyable, while still allowing for easy conversation. Looking forward to coming back!

The food here was excellent. We ordered a variety of snacks and small plates and they were all delicious. Our favorites were the fried artichokes, duck confit, and shrimp.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday, and we had a wonderful experience. We enjoyed each dish, and especially liked the duck confit. At the end of the meal, our server brought out special Spanish Vermouth for a dessert spirit. The service, atmosphere, and food were all exceptional. I highly recommend this place for celebrating a special occasion!
