   Excellent food and service. Gerardo was our server and he was excellent. Strongly recommend this iconic venue for a night out.

   I paid for ambiance and food, what we got was the overflow seating with a couple of paper decorations no music not even piped in and the bare minimum of food! For the price I paid we will not be coming back! Not to mention the egg hunt for the kids was pushed back a half hour, doesn’t seem that long unless you’re a 3 year old!😫

   I prepaid and had reservations for 1pm. Stood in line for 37 minutes until someone checked us in. Plates were wet, the food was cold, and buffet tables were mostly empty and messy. My 5 year old wanted waffles, and we were told that the waffle machines were "broken." Staff seemed overwhelmed. Twenty minutes later, we saw other patrons with waffles. To top it off, I took my daughter to the restroom, and the toilet was missing the seat. I was very disappointed, especially for the price.

   Sunday Champagne brunch, $100 per person. Quality of food was similar to Golden Corral or worse. Crab legs with no butter, no way to break them. Deserts similar to pastries from Walmart. Champagne in bottles with twist off caps, poor quality. Certain items not available for hours. This used to be a high class brunch, has gone down hill with cheaper ingredients…though prices have gone up.

   We made a reservation for noon and were told upon checking in that because there was a high volume of reservation requests (read: Mission Inn overbooked) and that they were running 15-20 minutes behind on their seating. That 15-20 minutes turned into 45. The line strictly to check in wound around the lobby. Someone made a major fail in this and if you plan to go there for their Mother's Day brunch, you have been forewarned. The reservations were all prepaid so there was no leaving because you didn't care to wait for your table. You were locked in to a wait you didn't sign up for and they knew it, there were also zero apologies or even a thank you for your patience. The upside was that the food was great. But as far as ambiance, our table for 2 was crammed next to a family of four at half booths and when you are getting up and down for a buffet brunch, this was uncomfortably tight. Our server was good enough. I rarely leave reviews, but really feel the need to on this one.

   Very crowded table was not ready with our reservation that they would have charged me for if we had cancelled or not arrived. Once seated were promptly greeted by lovely waitstaff. One room featured part of the brunch while the other room has the remainder. There was no overview of where the foods were located. Food was abundant and some of it was rather tasteless. Some of the desserts were good. There was confusion at the time of payment where our waitstaff thought we had prepaid but we hadn’t. I probably will not return.

   the price range is not even worth it. the food is not that great. 1st time and will be my last. to much for the price of 116 + per person might as well go to cafe sierra even san manuel or better texas roadhouse better food quality and the price tooo is less for 270 that i paid for 3 people at this restaurant (mission inn)

   Unfortunately this brunch experience was not a very good one. I am not sure if Mission Inn had an off day or if their quality has gone down. Either way, we are not likely to return anytime soon.

   The flow of the buffet makes it difficult for people to move around. The line to get an omelet and/or waffle was very long and positioned in a way that made it hard for people to get around. I'm not certain if the event was understaffed, but they can benefit from offering fewer reservations. The servers were great at keeping drinks refilled. The food choices were struggling to stay full and the items in the chafing dishes didn't stay very warm. I love the location and ambiance, but I didn't walk away feeling that I got my money's worth.
