   Kathy Oravec did a great job serving and recommending ! Food and wine was excellent! Delay in table readiness was tolerable as the bar and piano music were fantastic

   WE DINED HERE LAST WEEK AND EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL! CAME BACK LAST NIGHT AND IT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING! APPETIZERS ARRIVED BEFORE COCKTAILS WERE SERVED. I RECEIVED MY ENTREE AFTER EVERYONE HAD FINISHED THEIR DINNER. IT TOOK OVER 2.5 HOURS TO BE SERVED ....THE FILET MIGNON TARTAR WAS SO OVER SALTED IT WAS INEDIBLE. NOT SURE WHAT THE ISSUES WERE LAST NIGHT BUT A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPENSIVE EVENING OUT!

   We were quickly seated. The place was bustling. Kethie, our server, clearly enjoyed her job. Orders were taken and delivered quickly. The flavors were excellent. Only quibble are the wine prices- $25 and $38 a glass? Silly. Michael, the owner, came to our table and greeted us happily. We will return.

   We visit from Michigan and return annually. It is usually the most special meal during our two month stay. This year was no exception. Our server Kathy O is a real pro; knowledgeable, courteous and welcoming. She was also very attentive to our Gluten Free friend. Guests at our table enjoyed, Veal Chops, Lobster Bisque, Skirt Steak & Sea Bass. All were delicious. Will will likely return next spring.

   Tamra was an excellent server. We were celebrating my 60th birthday and she was the ultimate professional...friendly, knowledgeable, attentive without rushing us and paced our meal perfectly. We will definitely be back to your establishment as the food, service and atmosphere were top notch!

   Most consistent fine dining experience in Sarasota. It’s very rare to have a negative comment about a meal at Michael’s. Perhaps, wines by the glass are pricey, but many choices and good quality.

   The steak tartare and the caviar was very good. They pushed the Chilean sea bass pretty hard and we did not think it had much flavor. The scallop and shrimp gnocchi was good. The scallops didn't have any salt though. The service was extremely slow. We had 6pm reservations and ordered apps and mains at the same time and it took 30 min between the apps and the main being served.
