- IIsabelVIPLos Angeles •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHad a wonderful time at Saffy’s last night — I have high expectations for this restaurant “group” and y’all deliver great food and service every time. This was also the first time in a long while that I’ve received a bill and thought “this is less than what I was expecting,” a rare joy in these economic times. Happy holidays and thank you!More infoSaffy'sPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• East Hollywood•4.8
- GGabrielaLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food was absolutely delicious, and our server provided exceptional service throughout the evening. We were celebrating my birthday, and the ambiance added a special touch to the occasion. However, the night ended on a disappointing note due to an unprofessional encounter with one of the security staff in the upstairs bar area. When we attempted to take a group picture in an open section that was accessible to everyone and not reserved, the security guard rudely demanded that we move, despite our explanation that we were just taking a quick photo. To our frustration, minutes later, we saw another group use the same area without issue. This inconsistency left us feeling singled out and deeply disappointed, especially after spending over $1,500 on dinner alone. While the evening was otherwise enjoyable, this negative experience overshadowed what should have been a memorable celebration. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure better treatment of all guests in the future.More infoPerch LAPrice: Expensive• French American• Downtown•4.6
- PPattyVIPPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe Bacari restaurants are my LA go to. Tonight I brought family who had been to other locations but never to Silverlake. What a magical place it is, especially during the holidays. It was festive, the food was great, the server was fun and patient. Those folks work so hard in a location like this that is busy and multi leveled, serving a lot of different plates and knowing a large and varied menu. We were impressed with all of them. Loved our meal and our dining experience.More infoBacari SilverlakePrice: Expensive• Italian• Silver Lake•4.7
- WWandaLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe were greeted by the friendly hostess and seated promptly in a comfortable area. Our waitress, Jamelah came right over to take care of us. Our orders were placed and our group of 7 was served in a short time. It was a first visit for some and everyone was satisfied with their choices. Some placed orders to go for family members. Excellent menu. Service is premium. We'll be back soon.More infoFixins Soul KitchenPrice: Moderate• Soul food• Downtown•4.7
- SStevenVIPNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoMy daughter and I dined at Bestia as first-timers before heading to the Disney Concert Hall to listen to the amazing Jennifer Hudson. Several parties around us were doing the same thing-great minds think alike. After receiving lots of helpful suggestions from Franklin, our server, we opted for a glass of Riesling and a Cruise Control as our beverages and shared a Margherita pizza, Cavatelli alla Norcina, and the Grilled Pork Collar. All were delicious options. The pizza was so flavorful with just the right amount of char on the crust. The pasta married the sauce, sausage and shaved truffles so well, and the pork collar was sublime; tender and flavorful. For dessert we shared the Holiday Cookie Frozen Torte which gave us a little of everything-cake, coconut, pecans and ice cream. Franklin and his team were friendly, attentive, and professional. We both agreed we would love to dine here againMore infoBestiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Downtown•4.7

Discover Los Angeles
Think Los Angeles is a one-industry town? Think again. From the micro-Seoul of Koreatown to unexpected fusion cuisines (take Chinese-Mexican, for one) and strip malls that house destination restaurants, the city’s restaurant scene is notably experimental and diverse. Ask locals where to find the best taco truck (or lonchero) in the city, and you’ve struck a match. These mobile microenterprises are a part of the city's lifeblood. With L.A.’s own Pulitzer Prize-winning food critic, Jonathan Gold, describing the city as “less of a melting pot—more of a glittering mosaic,” we’re seeing L.A.’s vast palate show up on the plate.
