During this time Matisse will continue to offer our pickup and delivery options. Starting March 30th, our restaurant will operate 6 days a week, Tuesday through Sunday.

To ensure availability please make your reservations now.

To continue to safely serve you, and hopefully provide some comfort and deliciousness to your home. Matisse will continue offer curbside pickup from the hours of 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday; from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday.

Orders can be placed over the phone by reaching us at (202) 244-5222 or ubereats and doordash for delivery.

Terrific food that is consistently good. The duck two ways was great. As was the rockfish, shrimp pasta, and Pearl River salmon. The service was great, and the atmosphere is beautiful. There is a very nice selection of wines by the glass, and a full list by the bottle. We always enjoy our dinners at Matisse!

Matisse is a wonderful restaurant. Great food and wonderful ambiance. Tonight there was a party upstairs and the service was unusually slow. Too bad the kitchen didn’t prepare for the extra people so everyone would not have to wait so long. Please do not post!

I asked for a quiet table and, as a result, we were seated in a small, pleasant upstairs room. I can't attest to the noise level elsewhere in the restaurant, but we enjoyed wonderful food, excellent service, and the rare ability to have a nice conversation.

The reverse brought our drinks after the first course. Very poor service.. sent drinks back.. food okay.. but small portions.. very loud .. we won’t go back.. sadly.

We had to ask 3 times for a glass of wine.. Lighting so bad one needed a flashlight.. People at the bar made a lot of noise.. Restaurant was not what it was .. Will not return
