Packed on valintines day, had a reservation at 5 got sat at around 5:10. I would say pretty fast, Everyone working there was flying. Had some flowers brought to us and at every point in my meal my beverages were refilled and there wasn’t a time there wasn’t something in front of me. I had a New York something steak lol it was a little under cooked from what I asked for but who I am not to eat it. It was amazing. Nothing like being hungry getting sat immediately eating and then after immediately having a check in front of you. Idk what else you would ask for.

Food was amazing, Nate was a great server to us. My Girlfriend loved the fried calamari and her entree. I would recommend and come back in the future.

We both had pasta dishes, both were cooked perfectly and the proportions were large. Service was excellent, the desserts were wonderful.

Great drinks, Excellent food and great service. One of the best restaurants in the north / Northwest Chicago area and especially Lake County Illinois. Always a great experience.

Luann was our server was outstanding as always. Place was packed as always, as ambiance was very energetic. Great portions on the food, yet we were both disappointed as the chicken Marsala and the Pork Shank special were lukewarm temperature. Which makes no sense since we waited little while to receive them. And just couple minutes before she brought them to us, Luann told us our entrees would be ready in a couple minutes. We left at 7:45pm and the front lobby was totally packed with lots of folks waiting for be seated. I’m guessing it must be from the recent viewing on the old Ch. 11 show “Check Please!”. I’ve been going to Mambo for 20 years and it’s always a great dinner night out.
