   Valentine's date night. Reservation for 6:30. Walked right in and was seated almost immediately. Having not been here before, (we are new to KC) our server, Noah, was fantastic, explaining the menu and sharing his favorites with us. He was engaging and knowledgeable. Ordered the Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer and they were fantastic. Followed that up with a shared Champagne Fish and Chips, and a small wedge salad. The fish was cooked to perfection. The chef uses a rice flour and, you guessed it, champagne to make the batter extra light and crispy. Topped it off with their house made Beignets which, I have to admit, rival anything you'll get in NOLA, including the infamous Cafe Du Monde - they are no joke, 100% legit! Happy we found this place. Everything was spot on. Will definitely be back!

   Everything was great. The only thing that was a wee bit weird was my husband getting his beer in a stemmed drink glass, which was almost half the amount of beer. Other than this everything was great. The staff was welcoming, the ambience was great, and so was the service and the food!

   Everything great- food always good, good value and great service. They did seem to add extra tables, probably to accommodate all the Valentines diners-which was ok, just had to pretend I was in Europe in a cafe :)

   Food was very delicious. Had the Chicken Piccata and my spouse had the prime rib. Very tasty. and our server Aeriel was great.

   This was a 4:00 Valentines Dinner. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant at the time. There was two of us. The hostess tried to sit us at a two top by the bathrooms. We asked for another choice. We were then offered a two top in the isle right by the bathrooms. We asked the hostess for a four top. She said she would this one time, but she would not be able to do this for us in the future. Then we could see her seat another couple at a four top not long after we were sat. There was only two people in their party. Of course this was not a good start to your Valentines dinner. HOWEVER, our waiter was wonderful. I believe his name was Dave. And as usual, the food here is wonderful. My wife went to complain about the hostess on the way out to the mgr. Only to find out that the hostess was supposedly the district mgr. Dennis

   Love the biscuits and gravy just knew what I was going to get and I hadn't had the Bangkok bloody Mary in a long time.

   We are “regulars” at Louie’s & tonite was excellent as usual. From the service to the food & drinks & even the quiet music playing in the background. That’s why we’re there at least 1-2 times a month
