I took my family there for dinner tonight! This establishment never disappoints. We always get the tomahawk it’s always so flavorful and cooked to temp. What a great value! We were even greeted by the management staff there and had a fantastic evening our server came with ice cream and carrot cake that was brought out to our table. My husband and I recently enjoyed an anniversary dinner at Stoke in the Charlotte Marriott City Center. We had an amazing evening filled with great food and personalized service. Our server Emily was outstanding. She is super knowledgeable about the items on the menu, describing them in detail and offering recommendations. We started with a Pretzel Brioche bread served with three curated butters. My favorite was the butter infused with Monk Mustard although the honey and Cheerwine flavors were close seconds. We each choose the NY strip steak as an entrée and paired them with sharable sides of Mac & Cheese and Salad. Our steaks were full flavored and cooked to perfection. The mac & cheese was a tasty blend of two cheeses with a hint of Chile spice. For dessert we enjoyed “The Donut”, a huge donut filled with diplomat cream and topped with heath bar crumble. Bring friends to eat this or take the leftovers home like we did. The Food and Beverage Manager, Michael, stopped by to check on us several times during the evening. He is an experienced manager who made sure all the guests’ needs were met, and his staff was supported. A special thank you to Chef Ericka and her team for preparing such delicious food. Ericka even took time to leave the kitchen and speak with us. We highly recommend Stoke and look forward to returning to enjoy food, drink and our new friends Emily, Michael and Ericka.

While primarily a good steakhouse, their menu is unusually broad and interesting. I've had both the duck confit and the grouper, both of which were superb. My son had the bison tenderloin, which was exceptionally tender and flavorful I've never seen puttanesca sauce on fish but bet it's great. I look forward to more visits to try every item they offer.

This was our first time at Primo Prime, and it was fabulous! We were immediately greeted upon entry, and seated at a two-top table that was awkwardly added to the end of a booth. But once we sat, it was fine. The restaurant, when full of patrons, was incredibly loud. If we return, we’d likely request a table along the front windows - seemed quieter. The noise was quickly forgotten as we began ordering. Our server, Amanda, was attentive and friendly. Our cocktails were delicious, as was the wine. Then the food. Started with a Caesar salad and grilled romaine salad. Both were excellent. Then we split the daily fish special (sea bass) and the beef tenderloin pappardelle. The pasta is quite literally the best dish I have ever eaten. One piece of the beef was fatty, but the flavor and quality were amazing. The sea bass was also excellent - perfectly cooked, and paired with a delicious lemon butter sauce with artichokes and tomatoes (which we got on the side). Already looking forward to returning.

Great food and service. I live in the DC area and have access to fantastic, chic sushi restaurants, so when I compare, I do think the pricing is a tiny bit aggressive. Still, it was yummy, and I enjoyed myself. Think the downstairs dining ambience could benefit from a bit more…something. Still, I’d happily go back next time I come to town and have recommended it to my friends that live local. :)

Picked from online app. Surpassed expectations my guests were overwhelmed by menu. Sorry the shrimp and grits were not availible for dinner. Had the Pesto Pasta which was most satisfying my companion had the filet and had an experience. Next time I am in charlotte will come again. Parking police a bit OCD but it was 5 minutes to 6. Great experience

Amazing experience! I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and they made the experience so welcoming! They had a gift and hand written note for him and a special menu for him. Our server was amazing and gave great recommendations! Food was AMAZING! The Brussels sprouts were to die for and the steak was outstanding! If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special day or even a date night I definitely recommend!
