The drinks here are incredible and the food is SO good. The calamari is world class and the pastas are all incredibly complex and satiating. The hamburger is a must get. My only advice is to go with an appetite

Stunningly beautiful restaurant set in a lush tropical garden. Exceptional Wine list. Food was creative and delicious. Service was good too. Beware booking on Open Table - at the time of booking and prepayment it says service fees are included but they are not. Left us feeling embarrassed and disappointed having to clear this up at the end of a lovely Christmas dinner, especially since everything was exceptional 🎄

Absolutely gorgeous views! We booked for 5:30 pm and it was perfect! Beautiful sunset views. Came here from Atlanta to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It was everything we imagined and more! Service and food exceeded our expectations. Zoe was an amazing waitress, super helpful, friendly and attentive. Food was incredible! Everything we ate was delicious! What a wonderful experience! We were in Mexico City for business. Costa Guadiana was recommended to us, and we are happy we dined there. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They gave us great service throughout the dinner. We started with the ceviche and mushrooms appetizers. Both were seasoned to perfection, and tasted amazing. Our entrees were also delicious. I ordered the filet tacos and my colleague had the fish Veracruz. We also enjoyed their margaritas, made with fresh lime juice and shaken to perfection. We will definitely go back!

The food is good, good ambience, but the waiter was so insisten recommending us the plates with the highest prices, and recommending us extras without telling us it was an extra charge. It is very obvious they want to have you with a big account. That kind of actitud is not a pleasant experience.

Reservations last 1 hour and 30 minutes, allowing time to enjoy our cocktails and unique ambiance.

RESERVATION POLICIES:
The maximum number of guests per reservation is six. For groups of five or more, a deposit of $250.00 MXN per additional guest is required, processed via credit card through Open Table.

Multiple reservations and combining tables from different bookings are not allowed. There is a 15-minute grace period; after this time, the reservation will be marked as a no-show.

Deposits are non-refundable if you do not arrive within the grace period.

This was my second time at Handshake. Just as great as the first time! Came with a party of four and though we had to wait 5-10 minutes despite having a reservation (it was totally packed with people waiting outside who didn't have reservations), it was well worth the wait! All of the drinks were outstanding and truly so unique. The rest of my party, who all experienced Handshake for the first time on this outing, said it was unlike any bar they've ever been to! Awesome experience from start to finish and I will recommend Handshake to anyone visiting CDMX.

It didn’t feel like we had to wait for the food and when it came, it was all beautifully plated and spectacular looking. We loved the soup dumplings and the bone marrow rice was incredibly scrumptious.

Amazing meal with excellent service. It’s definitely pricey but a great choice for a special occasion or for a more fine dining experience vs. other Cabo restaurants. There’s not a lot on the menu for younger children so don’t bring them. Follow the wait staff recommendations on what to order! Good options for vegetarians!

Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. Pricey of course but that was expected. The black miso cod was the star of the night, but everything was outstanding from the service, the view, to the food and presentation.

Francesco welcomed us, David was our server. He was an excellent host, he was very attentive, he made recommendations and tasty food pairings. The Toro old Fashioned is a highlight to kick off the dinner. The mixologist was working his craft, very fun to watch while enjoying very yummie food. Dessert was thé bomb, (literally and figuratively, sweets all over).
