64 Goodge Street is a new restaurant from Woodhead Restaurant Group, which opened in early August 2023. A former travel agent in our beloved Fitzrovia (64’s older siblings Portland and Clipstone are just round the corner), we were hugely excited by the opportunity this blank slate of a site afforded us.

We’ve been able to build from the bottom up, and therefore design every inch of space to meet our hope for 64 Goodge Street. Namely, that it is a space in which guests feel utterly taken care of.

We are open Monday to Saturday for lunch and dinner. We very much hope to see you soon.

I cannot speak highly enough of Bar San Juan. Outside of Spain it’s my favourite tapas restaurant. The food is amazing every time. The staff are really nice and very good at what they do. It can be difficult to get a booking mainly because of its success.

Our first visit was as good as we had hoped. We were greeted and seated... the menu isn't extensive, clearly prioritising quality over quantity. On the other hand the wine menu is extensive and, frankly, more expensive than I expected. That said, the wine was delightful and not one you'd expect to find on most wine lists. Our meals were absolutely lovely, backed by 'Goldilocks' service... just right! We shall definitely return... I can now understand why it's so difficult to get a table on a weekend evening!

Located in a Grade II listed building on Cloth Fair, Cloth Restaurant is part of a historic row of buildings in the City of London that survived the Great Fire of 1666. Down this atmospheric alley opposite St Bartholomew church, Cloth is taking over a double fronted corner site that’s beneath the former home of poet John Betjeman and next door to the two oldest residential buildings in London.

Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. By far this was the best dinning experience we have ever had ! It deserves all the Michelin stars it can get ! They presented us with the tasting menu and it was just an explosion of taste , flavor and freshness that I have ever eaten ! Produce from all of the UK turned into extraordinary bites of delicious food ! We celebrated our anniversary and everyone greated us and congratulated us on the occasion. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Saturday at dinner and at lunchtime on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Had been meaning to try Higher Ground for a while after popping in one night just for a few glasses of wine. Very very glad we decided to come back for their lunch menu. Extremely friendly and genuine staff, very helpful with the menu and the food was fantastic. I recommend the bar top, counter seating where you can watch the chefs in the open style kitchen. Fantastic place and will definitely be back again soon.

My daughter and I were in Edinburgh for a 2 night stay. Never having been before we didn’t know where to eat. After a bit of research we chose Mamma Roma and booked a table. We were a bit apprehensive having eaten out so often and been underwhelmed. However, we had one of the best meals out we can remember. The service was excellent, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the food was great. We also felt that it was very well priced. We encourage evening so much that we returned to eat there on the second night of our stay. Over the two meals we had the garlic bread starter, meatball pasta, spaghetti bolognaise, chicken with asparagus and pancetta, sirloin steak, creamed spinach and tiramisu. For a starter, a sweet shared and two mains plus a glass of wine it was coming out around the £65-70 mark.

The whole experience was amazing from being greeted at the door to the moment we left. Staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Was so lovely to see staff engaging with everyone to give a great experience whether new to the restaurant like we were or knowing names of regulars. The added extra of gifting some biscuits to my mum for her birthday was a beautiful, kind thing to do and was greatly appreciated. Food was absolutely delicious great value for money the portions were generous left very satisfied. Will be visiting again and recommending to others to visit.

What a great afternoon of food to celebrate an anniversary. A wonderful gesture was a card wishing us a happy anniversary signed by all the staff waiting for us at our table. This kind of attention to detail is always so welcomely received. We weren’t drinking alcohol today so had bottles of sparking water. We were served an amouse-bouche of a crispy cracker topped with a truffle cream and a peanut. Starters We had confit skate with a crab bisque sauce and chicken liver parfait with a croissant. Mains Doddington lamb with Jerusalem artichoke purée and an anchovy dressing. Monkfish with poached leeks and mussel escabeche. Both beautifully presented and tasted glorious. Dessert I nearly always have the cheese option for dessert and this was the best I’ve ever had. The combination of Cote Hill Blue cheese, Parkin and a Damson jelly was taste perfection. The other dessert of salted caramel slice with Yorkshire rhubarb and a coffee cream was equally delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful making the entire experience memorable and comforting. Thank you for making our special day deliciously memorable.

I used to work at Barts hospital many years ago so I know the area well. The restaurant is located in a quite close. Nice bar area next to open plan kitchen to chill and have a drink while waiting for other guests to arrive. The snacks they served us were literally divine. Food was fantastic, we had 6 bottles of with dinner (there were 6 of us) arrived at 7 and left at 11.30. One of the best mitchelin star restaurants I have been too in London. Very good traditional British food.

Really beautiful meal in all aspects of the experience, from the moment you walk through the door your transported out of your ordinary and into the magical world of koji, fermentation, and experimentation. The experience felt welcoming and warm, with a team that has incredible passion and joy behind the work that they're doing. They are gushingly proud of their purveyors and felt that each one they spoke about held deep connections to the meal and the team honored to transform these ingredients into culinary magic. I had the opportunity to sit at the counter and watch the magic happening, led by Chris at the pass and Katie at the grill, it was a joy to watch and taste the bounties of their hard work. The food was equally as incredible, with each dish seemingly better than the last, I felt I said to myself 3 or 4 times this is one of the best bites I've eaten, EVER. Run to this place and enter with and open mind and an empty stomach because you won't leave hungry but you will leave wondering what in the hell just happened.

On our first visit to this restaurant we were delighted with all aspects of our experience here. Many local people have told us what a great place it is, so we had to try it out. Everything was excellent; the greeting from the owner, the service which was very attentive (but not in our face), the lovely food, and the very reasonable cost. We had the lunchtime menu which offered loads of choice although we couldn't manage a 3rd course. Definitely on the list for a return visit.

We were given a voucher for Chef's Table in Chester as a Christmas present and haven't been there before. It was a Wednesday night in the middle of January so we expected it to be relatively quiet, despite the 20% discount offer this month. There were only a few tables being used but that suited us just fine as it meant we could engage more with the staff, who were excellent. Sino, the sommelier, clearly knows his stuff and we ordered a bottle of Plavac (Croatian wine) as we'd enjoyed this on our travels there over the last few years. We ordered foccaccia, haggis fritters and venison chipolatas to get us underway, which were all very tasty. For starters we had surf and turf and lamb with feta and beetroot salad. My partner said the scallop on her surf and turf was the best she'd had since we were in Italy, which was 8 years ago! The lamb was delicious. For main course we had cod cheeks in a massaman curry sauce and iberico pork with winter vegetable as a side dish. The portion sizes of the main course were generous and the food was once again excellent. It is clear that Chef's Table uses some of the best produce around and Liam the chef with his team prepared the food beautifully. We have been to a few high end fine dining restaurants with taster menus but this ranked right at the top for us. We would definitely recommend Chef's Table, it's not cheap but you certainly get what you pay for here, it's outstanding! Our waiter was also friendly and very helpful so that also made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thanks to everyone for a lovely experience, I'm sure we'll be back!

Absolutely incredible evening here at The Elephant for my partners birthday meal. We've been looking forward to it for weeks! This was our first time experiencing a Michelin star restaurant so we might have gone in with high expectations, however, the team at The Elephant absolutely smashed those expectations and more. The food was devine, such great attention to detail on the tasting menu, nothing felt out of place and we couldn't fault a single thing. The service was also impeccable from our coats being taken, to the table being cleared of any crumbs halfway through. A huge thank you to everyone for making the night so special. We'll be thinking about this experience for a long time!

I would say that the experience at the Fig Tree gets even better but in fact the standard is so high that it couldn't! The food was beautifully cooked and presented,with just the right level of attention from Jodie and her staff . The only small quibble , about which little can be done, is the lack of sound baffling so that it can become distractingly noisy . Hence 24 out 25 ! I doubt there s a better dining experience this side of London

We had a great experience from start to finish. The staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. My son who has autism and is non verbal came with us and was made to feel very welcome. He had a plate of food cooked for him that was quite specific to his tastes, it was also not on the menu and he really enjoyed it. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was incredible, full of flavour and could not be faulted. I will without a doubt return.

THE PUB
A copper and pewter topped bar serving a range of beers, including our very own Gritchie brews, premium spirits, cocktails and selected wines. The walls are adorned with eclectic and original artwork.

Open plan but still intimate. Experience the sight and sound of our open kitchen with the Chefs cooking on our bespoke, charcoal fuelled oven and char-grill.

Brilliant experience at Lore of the Land. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were kindly offered a table whilst we had our drinks before going up to dinner. The meal was excellent, we enjoyed the Cod, Trout and Burrata to start (a word of warning on the size of the cod would be helpful in the future), then shared a ribeye and sirloin steak between four for main course which was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. Finishing off with Sticky Toffee pudding, Cinnamon Rice Pudding and The Lore Donut, all were delicious. We were very well looked after and attended to throughout the meal, a personal enjoyment is the open kitchen and seeing the food be prepared. Definitely worth a re-visit.

We had the most amazing time! Astonishingly good, sublime, the food was incredible. Perfect from start to finish. Lovely staff: the server made great suggestions and hit the mark every time. We’re so glad we took his advice. One of the best meals out in a long time. A lively, convivial atmosphere. It’s not cheap but worth every single penny. A night to remember. So happy to have eaten at The Parakeet!

A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.

It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. We turn tables because we need to in order to survive and pay the people that make it work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a moment for your table. Our dining room has limited space and we don’t offer high chairs, so please let us know in advance if you're bringing a pram or need to adjust your booking size.

Trivet derives from the age-old cooking utensil - an iron tripod placed over fire to support a cooking pot or kettle - reflecting the warmth and balance which forms Head Chef Jonny Lake and Master Sommelier Isa Bal’s values for the restaurant, as well as their working relationship.

From the very beginning of the creative process, Jonny, Isa and the team think about how food and drink work together. The menu features their explorations of ingredients, dishes and drinks from around the world, inspired by the culinary history and diversity around us. The wine list is set out chronologically, following the historic beginnings of wine to present day, with over 350 wines from classic producers to the New World, as well as acknowledging the root of viti-vinoculture with wines from Georgia, Armenia and Turkey.

Great experience all round but the service was exceptional!! The menu changes daily, but I think there are always lots of plant based options. If the Jerusalem artichoke, onion & raclette dish is on the menu, this is a fantastic riff on traditional Swiss raclette! Loved the concept of shared tables, plates to share, good and reasonably priced wine list.
