Loved the ambiance of the restaurant, it was very cozy. Our waitress was great, although it took a while to get our cocktails and refills (possibly a bar issue). The food was outstanding and the dessert was to die for. I would definitely come back for a birthday or special celebration. Another great meal at True Food Kitchen. We ordered our favorites -- skinny margarita, charred cauliflower appetizer, ancient grain bowl, and plant-based double cheeseburger. All delicious! Fast, friendly service too.

Lovely old tavern. Really great food and good service. Only issue is price, which was quite high, even by DC standards. We love to dine out and we have been to many of the areas best restaurants over the years. This ranks right up there with the best in terms of food quality, but the prices are out of line. They strike me as exclusionary rather than production related. Nonetheless, if you want a excellent meal in nostalgic" old money" surroundings, this is your place.
