My partner and I visited Bella Venezia while on holiday for our anniversary and enjoyed our time there. Our waiter, Brendan was very knowledgeable about all the dishes, the different flavours in them and what location they’re from. We really appreciated his service as this is what made the experience even better. My partner and I got the 7 course meal and walked out with a nice full belly. This place is a vibe! It felt like an exclusive rooftop venue as the place does not have much signage and you go up a clear lift straight to the rooftop. Service was amazing, food and drinks were also 10/10. The view was incredible, you can see all the way into the city and clear views of centre Point tower. I ordered the slow cooked lamb with broccolini and roast potatoes, it was delicious, like a true home cooked dinner. My husband ordered the pizza Angelo, he loved the thin crispy pizza base and the lamb was tender and the topping full of flavour. The torte for desert - superb! We shared it and ended our beautiful night out with a walk across the river on the footbridge..

As we were a group of 9 we had to have a set banquet. That said, the staff were very happy to accommodate any special dietary requests. The food was great, lots of flavour and the right portions, no one went hungry. The service was outstanding. This was the perfect restaurant for a catch up lunch with friends. Highly recommend.

Always great ambience, friendly staff and the food never ever lets you down. Had a wonderful stormy evening enjoying Kingfish Ceviche, Duck Liver Pate followed by a 300 gram medium rare Bavette Steak and a Cauliflower Steak with a raft of delicious sides and a bottle of Mornington Peninsula Pinot Gris! Today’s lunch is the second time we have eaten at the woodhouse and while the meals were very good the menu hadn’t changed in that time. It would be nice if the meals are providing seasonal rates that the menu could change in that time.
