Excellent Spanish tapas menu, with good wine and cocktail offering. All of the 6 or 7 plates were really good, nothing to improve. Daniel gave us excellent friendly service. We started at the covered tables on the streetside. We soon moved as the curb lane traffic was within inches! Otherwise, a great experience and highly recommended.

Blew our expectations. I was nervous because of the negative reviews the establishment has - please ignore them. It was amazing. When in without a plan and our server was kind enough to guide us through our dining journey. Cannot wait to go back - easily a top meal of my life.

We had an amazing dinner at Carmela y Sal for Valentine’s Day. My husband had an app and a main course and I had the tasting menu. Everything was delicious and the service was very good. It was VERY loud where we were seated (in back room where bar is located). In fact, a couple was seated next to us and almost immediately asked to be moved to a quieter table.

We were in Mexico City for business. Costa Guadiana was recommended to us, and we are happy we dined there. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They gave us great service throughout the dinner. We started with the ceviche and mushrooms appetizers. Both were seasoned to perfection, and tasted amazing. Our entrees were also delicious. I ordered the filet tacos and my colleague had the fish Veracruz. We also enjoyed their margaritas, made with fresh lime juice and shaken to perfection. We will definitely go back!

It's listed as vegetarian friendly, but the only vegetarian options are mujaddara and a plate of 10 stuffed grape leaves. I had the mujaddara. The fried onion topping was great. And it's the only place I've eaten in Mexico so far that didn't make me sick.

I heard so much good things from friends about this place hence was looking forward to the visit. Ambience was great in the courtyard but service was very poor. Food though good we never got our main dishes all at the same time. Every dish came out at different times few of us had to to wait 20 min before our order was brought while the remaining party finished their main course.

Since the Artz restaurant was opened we haven’t visited this location and we’re gladly surprised. The standalone concept gave us a different and good feeling. The food as always was delicious and the service was great except when we asked for the check, which took a lot of time. We asked for the duck and the preparation was excellent, our only complain is that it was too big for a party of three people. We asked for a cheese cake dessert, it was delicious but we feel they have limited options.

This is a lovely restaurant with fantastic food and wonderful service. Claudio welcomed us and led us to our table tucked into a corner of the charming outside patio. Augustine, the sommelier, helped us choose an excellent white wine from Sicily from the well curated wine list. We enjoyed the fish in orange sauce with baked fennel and a perfectly prepared tagliatelle with three meat sauce. Santiago made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Special thanks to the day manager because she helped us select and made sure we had that romantic table on the patio. We look forward to returning!

The prevailing element is Japan’s native geometric pattern asa no ha, “hemp leaves” that represents prosperity and is displayed in its most simple form in Yoshimi spaces. Zavala is a great restaurant nested in Mexico City’s upscale Lomas neighborhood. We live in Los Angeles and so far besides Jose Andre’s’ restaurants, we haven’t found yet one that has the quality and variety of Zagala’s menu. The lamb was outstanding and I have never tried it with that mix of herbs. Everything was delicious overall. Ambiance quiet, intimate. Service excellent. We didn’t sit up in the rooftop because it was cold-ish but it looked amazing. Zavala is a must!
