They’re partly here for tableside theatre from an attention-grabbing duck press that makes Otto’s iconic canard à la presse possible. The hefty contraption extracts juices from the bird which is served three ways: liver atop morels and sweetbreads, slivers of duck breast in that infamous pressed sauce with pommes soufflées, and confit duck leg with foie gras and black truffle (due to avian flu, pigeon à la presse is on offer instead). This is an incredible restaurant. The downstairs is very nice, quiet and good for larger groups. We had seven or eight people at a table and it was perfect. The food was top-notch. We can’t wait for our next visit.

We really enjoyed our experience there and will go back next time we're in London. The Crackling Spinach was absolutely outstanding and one of the best vegetable dishes I've ever had. My obnly regret is that we didn't try more items on the menu, but we were so full we just couldn't eat another bite. The service was excellent and we felt very appreciated.

Visited the Savoy Grill with a friend, for his birthday, the service was attentive without being intrusive. Our waiter, Niko, was incredible and made us feel welcome. He gave us some recommendations, which we took and they did not disappoint. We had the Beef Wellington and it has converted my friend from a medium-well steak guy to a medium-rare steak guy. We had the Crepes to finish and Niko put on an amazing table-side show. We will be visiting again.

Excellent, attentive service. They were also very accommodating to a variety of dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble. I notified them at the time of the booking, and they confirmed the requirements two days before. The food was excellent. We had several rounds of savouries and scones. I have experienced several London afternoon teas, and I would recommend Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. We celebrated my 50th birthday, so don't worry if it is an adult-only booking.
