I enjoyed the experience tremendously. I started out with some caviar and a dirty martini. After that I enjoyed the tuna sashimi salad and definitely liked the rack of lamb, though I felt that maybe they should have served it with a bit of gravy or bordelaise sauce. The au gratin potatoes were excellent. I broke down and had a sorbet. On the house, they provided small bits at the beginning and end of the meal. The view was worth it. This was the only real dinner I treated myself to in Vegas, even though I was staying across the street at the Bellagio.

Founded by former Ziegfield girl Helen Gallagher and the colorful gambler and sports enthusiast Jack Solomon, Gallaghers opened as a speakeasy and steakhouse in 1927. At that time, the height of Prohibition, a good stiff drink and a great steak were hard to find in New York – except, of course, at Gallaghers.

It was our first time at The Perch for dinner. The staff were so attentive and professional! The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered from the $65 prix fixe menu. Among the three of us we tried the French onion soup, the baby beet salad, baked Brie, chicken supreme, boeuf bordelaise, crème brûlée and bread pudding. Everything was so flavorful-even the sides. Our pre-theater dinner was extraordinary. The staff from the moment we entered through dessert was magnificent. The food was even beyond our expectations. Of course, we had the famous potato chips which were quite a hit. The salmon tartare was so well prepared and melts in your mouth ( there is a crunch too). We also had a kale and quinoa salad, tomato soup , bibimbap and lots of other delicious food. Make sure to make a reservation .. the place was packed and yet the staff was incredibly attentive. I would give it ten stars if I could.

Excellent service and fantastic food. At peak times it does get quite loud in the dining room depending on where you are sitting but that’s life for a popular spot. For just 2 people getting drinks, apps, and dinner it was about $200. My only complaint is that is a bit steep but on the other hand we loved everything we ordered and were pleased with the service. Our waters were always full, our server was knowledgable, friendly, and attentive, the bar kindly remade my drink when the first was too sweet for me, and as I said our meals were delicious!

Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole’s signature non-traditional take on Japanese food has delighted Austin’s diverse dining crowd as well as visitors from across the country and around the world since 2003. Another exquisite visit to Uchi. The service was fabulous from the moment we walked in. We let our server Jessica give us some guidance on our menu for the evening, and her recommendations did not disappoint. The sake tom kha was delicious, with a flavor packed tom kha reduction. We also had an ocean trout nigiri on special that was so delicious, we ordered seconds. We’ll be back!

Melding the best offerings of Chef Tyson Cole’s first three restaurants (Uchi Austin, Uchiko, and Uchi Houston), the menu includes hot and cold tastings, makimono, yakimono, tempura, sushi, and sashimi. Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

Expectations were high for this place but unfortunately they were not met for me. Service was great. Super friendly and attentive but the food was just okay. Appetizers were well done with the fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs and cornbread being tasty and well executed. The mains were a disappointment though. The fried chicken was probably the best but was still not much above a Mary browns or Popeyes in quality and taste. My barbecue platter was just okay too with an odd additional of mayonnaise on the bbq chicken. The ribs were tasty and had good texture but the brisket burnt ends were alternately dry and fatty. The sausage was in my opinion just ok. The shrimp and grits were also just okay with the shrimp being a bit fishy tasting leading me to believe they were not of the best quality. I was expecting better from this highly rated place.
