   Overall, had a very good experience. The petite felit mignon was cooked perfectly. The calamari appetizer fried crisply. Salmon with asparagus and roasted chicken with mash potatoes also very good. Server also friendly and even offered us a free glass of chardonnay that another diner refused. My main issue in the past with LB is that the service can be slow. Not this time. Food came out in a reasonable time without us wondering how long it would take. The only negative this time was the escargot was a bit over done. Nonetheless, I will return again.

   i'm sorry, but this place has slipped in the quality of food over the years. just ok. ambiance inside is nice, but can be very noisy when full. good service. limited wine menu, $25 corkage is attractive.

   There have been changes to the Left Bank Menu. Their steak frites was always my favorite dish. I believe in the past it was skirt steak. So delicious. Now they offer Filet Mignon (which was good, but unremarkable) and NY steak. That said, we had a lovely dinner on the patio. Excellent french bread, onion soup and profiteroles.

   We had escargot and charcuterie plate. We were very happy with the choices and I had a paper plane. My wife and I enjoyed our time.

   My husband and I really enjoy Left Bank. The food is very reliable and the hamburgers (which we usually get when we go to the bar) are superb. The combination of the perfectly cooked fries, the crisp pickle, and the delicious cheeseburger is just exactly right.

   The charcuterie appetizer, New York steak & fries and onion soup was tasty and the portions were ample. The bread and butter was warm and toasty but was a charged item when most restaurants include it with the meal. There was live music in the dining area which made the dining experience more enjoyable.

   Service was great but…Food not great. Salmon overdone and portion smaller than I remember. Salad questionable. Disappointed.

   Don’t order the lobster roll. The lobster was fine, but the roll was dry and tough and not flavorful. That should not be the case in a French restaurant. They should have good bread. Very disappointing.

   Food and environment all good as always. Only problem is that for the steak, the waitress asked about our choice of New York vs fillet mignon without mentioning any price difference. The bill came out to be a little surprising. No big deal but could be an area for improvement.

    This dinner was not as good as I remember. I had to send the duck back. The skin was not crisp. Then the duck was overcooked. The onion soup was overly cheesy and slightly burnt. The soup was not plentiful more cheese than necessary. Maybe the staff should be better trained. I will be going to another French restaurant in the future.
