Lechon is a South American dining experience that seamlessly combines the fiery cooking of Argentina, Chile and Patagonia, along with creative inspiration of the chef. Enjoy perfectly charred 28-day dry-aged ribeye, grilled octopus with chorizo, housemade piquillo pepper and pork empanadas, slow roasted lechon, refreshing ceviches and smoked bone marrow.

Executive Chef Jaco Smith consistently pushes the boundaries on traditional Latin fare by incorporating wood-fired flavors into his cuisine while boasting a view of the Willamette River that few Portland restaurants can offer. Smith comes from a large family of cattle, sheep and grain farmers. He started cooking at a young age in his mother’s kitchen. His favorite childhood memories include the tastes of dulce de leche, flan and grilled breads, reminiscent of South American flavors and commonly found on South African kitchen tables.

    Join us at Lechon as we re-create a night in the Andes! Lechon will be partnering with Corazon del Sol to create a memorable night of Argentine food, CDS wines and friendship. This wine dinner will feature five courses from Lechon inspired by the traditional Argentine asado, with Corazon del Sol wine pairings. $150 all inclusive price, per person (price includes food, wine and gratuity). You have the ability to curate the expense of your meal by ordering plates to share, or can splurge on the tasting menu that will give you the best experience. Our waiter was also phenomenal, but truly the entire staff will impress you.

                                                                    The menu changes often so what you see online may not always reflect the latest. That said, we thought the food was very good. The foraged mushrooms with brioche was amazing and we also really enjoyed the grilled octopus and the black bean empanadas.

Usually some new items to try along with the usual stuff that is dished up at high levels of consistency each and every time. Whenever my wife gives gift cards for business gifts or for special celebrations, LeChon is one of our go to restaurants in Portland!
