   Our dinner was amazing! The Chateaubriand was perfect & the bernaise sauce was one of the best I've ever had. My only comment would be that even they knew this was a birthday celebration (& that they were going to give me a creme brûlée), they said nothing about that when I ordered/paid for a soufflé. Now I paid for a dessert that I didn't need. My suggestion would be to either inform the guest when a different dessert was ordered (giving him/her the option to change it), or reduce the price of the purchased dessert by the cost of the creme brûlée. We loved the restaurant and we WILL be returning!

   We have been dining here for over 25 years. Gordon is going an excellent job with the restaurant. The food, as always, is outstanding!

   Onion soup excellent as was the small plated beef Wellington. The small plate scallop consisted of some delicious beans and ONE scallop. The French opera cake was dry and not very good. The Grand Marnier soufflé had no taste of Grand Marnier.

   As always our experience at Le Rendez-vous was outstanding. Unfortunately a guest at the table next to us chose to use her speakerphone for a conversation. This went on for approximately 5 to 8 minutes which seemed like an eternity. I was surprised that it wasn’t shut down shortly after it started. Other than that the meal and service more than met our expectations.

   Although we had long-standing reservations, we were consigned to “the bistro” rather than the dining room. When I asked to be moved, I was told there was no availability in the dining room, although throughout the evening there were several tables for two available. We spent more than $300 for a meal (for two people) that was served cold and cocktails that were mediocre at best. What a disappointment. .

   Fantastic evening. Delicious cocktails and nice selection of wines by the glass. Baked Brie app was amazing. Four of us for dinner. All had different meals. Sea bass and filet with peppercorns delish. Eloisa, our server, was very helpful and attentive. Wonderful evening

    We have not lived in Tucson for over 20 years. We were back for a visit and decided to go back to see if it had changed. The service, food and ambiance were as good as we had remembered. If you want a truly wonderful dining experience this is the place!
