Our food was cold, the waitress kept forgetting about us. For what we paid it was very bad.

I know this is a busy time of the year for the Mission Inn, but the restaurant wasn't busy at all, and the service was poor for the cost and expectations. The food was good, and the chips and salsa were amazing, but the first thing we did after our meal was look for a spot to go to next year instead.

We chose to eat here to dine under the lights of the beautiful Mission Inn lit up at Christmas. We definitely enjoyed our time here but we’re definitely disappointed in our experience. Even though we had a reservation it took over 20” to get seated which was frustrating as we looked at many empty tables. It took another 30” for our server to come and even greet us or ask about drink or appetizer order. The food was good, but closer to average. Definitely did not justify the prices. We ordered the nacho appetizer and about a third of the chips were stale. Then the waitress came up twice to collect the bill while we were all talking and laughing and never cleared our dishes. When we left, our dishes were still piled on the table. We will definitely eat somewhere else nearby and come enjoy the beauty of the Mission Inn in the future.

We went there for a team work lunch. I haven’t been there in years and I would have to say it is very overpriced and there’s literally no flavor to the food. For example, the sauce on the enchiladas literally tasted just like tomato sauce with no flavor. I had the taco salad for $17 and literally it was lettuce And maybe a quarter cup of rice and a quarter cup of beans and some sliced tomatoes with a very under flavored vinaigrette. I will not be going there again.

Excellent customer service. The food was good and the Festival of Lights did not disappoint. We aren’t sure what was going on at the mission tonight. Open table showed restaurant was sold out tonight but there were some tables left empty And they were not allowing anyone in the mission inn unless you were staying there. That was odd as they always let us in for photos etc if we eat dinner. But again everything at the restaurant was fantastic.

The weather was beautiful, and the ambience with the Christmas lights was gorgeous, however , this by far was the worst meal that I have ever had. The food was actually inedible. The waitress was rude for the most part, and it was truly such a disappointing experience.

Service was slow. Food was terrible. It was a birthday celebration and when offered a flan dessert our bill was charged $11 for a birthday dessert. Also $29 for a plain burrito is way overpriced. Being Hispanic there is no way a burrito would cost $29. Meat in the burrito was very salty. Will definitely never recommend this restaurant nor go back.

$23 for guacamole not made tableside and something you can easily make at home. Indifferent hostesses and a 22-minute wait before we were acknowledged by our waiter (despite plenty of empty tables). People at the Mission Inn also brusque and made us show our receipt time and again.
