In the early 1970's, an old train caboose was added to provide a unique dining area. Lovely venue …glad I had made reservations. Lunch was good but given name of restaurant, I was surprised @ menu choices (nothing French?). There were 4 of us and 1 was not a wine drinker so it was nice that they had beer on the menu. We enjoyed it & will go back.

Dustin was the perfect server and fulfilled our every whim. This was truly a fantastic experience. Ribeye was tender and flavorful as were the NC oysters. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner tonight.

Wonderful ambiance, great staff. Delicious food. Limited menu, but what we had was good. Very pleasant evening. We love this hotel and have eaten here a half dozen times over the years. Each time it’s different! But always a pleasant, lovely experience.
