This was a last-minute reservation to check out the NY Polar Bear Swim at Kits Beach! Since my mom had never seen one, nor visited this boathouse location, I thought we should come and see if we’d get lucky with front-row seats—and yes, the Boathouse delivered! We were ushered to window seats facing Kits Beach in a nice, heated space. We loved our server Lauren’s recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed the oyster sampler from PEI. My mom also loved the Monte Cristo. We then shared the bruschetta board, tuna tacos, and delicious mussels! Lauren’s warm smile and outstanding service made our meal even more enjoyable. My mom especially appreciated her attentiveness in ensuring plenty of hot water—a must for older Asian ladies, lol. Overall, this was a great lunch spot, and we look forward to visiting again!

The tasting menu was a wise and no doubt popular choice. You get to choose your favourite dish in each category on the menu, and can then order new or repeat choices on the next round. All for a reasonable fixed price. The variety and sumptuous flavours were a delight, made all the more enjoyable by the live piano and guitar music. And the volume level was perfect, enabling easy conversation with table companions. Good service, too! I'll be going back many times.

The servers were very attentive. Checked on us very frequently to make sure everything was great. Highly recommend. 3 hours free parking offered by Restaurant!

We ordered the flat bread and the dips were delicious! Their special was short ribs and it was definitely the highlight.
