Experience dining approximately 30 feet below ground in historic caverns that were hand built in the 1800's. Accidentally discovered in 2018 during the building of our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex, we have refurbished the caverns once used to store beer before air conditioning into a one of a kind dining experience. Every Friday and Saturday night we provide an 8 course dinner with wine pairings from our home winery ( Cypress Hill Winery ) using wines made with California grapes. Prepaid reservation only. I wanted something special/different than our usual dinners out. This definitely delivered. Loved that we had no cell service so there’s no temptation for the mindless phone scrolling. We truly enjoyed our time and experience and the owners coming around was a true treat. You can tell they are passionate about their caverns and it is evident in the experience. Only recommendation we had was for the personalized menus to have the background of the caverns on the back of the menu for guest to read while waiting and an added treasure to keep.
